Hi! I'm Kelly! (she/her)

I see therapy as a space to pause, be truly heard, and begin to make sense of the experiences that have shaped who you are. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about your next steps, my goal is to help you reconnect with yourself and with what feels most meaningful in your life.

Since 2022, I've primarily worked with young adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, identity exploration, and the lasting effects of trauma. I’m especially interested in how our emotions live in the body, and how tuning into those experiences can foster healing, regulation, and deeper self-understanding.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I strive to create a space that feels safe, nonjudgmental, and responsive to your needs, somewhere you can explore at your own pace and in your own way.

I take an integrative, trauma-informed, and holistic approach, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), solution focused, and mindfulness-based practices.

Outside of the therapy space, you can find me on a walk with my french bulldogs, trying out a new recipe in the kitchen, spending time with family/friends, or doing yoga!

How it works

We’ll start with a 15-minute complimentary consultation! This is a chance for you to share a bit about yourself, your goals for therapy, and what you’re hoping to get out of the process. It’s also an opportunity for me to explain my approach, background, and how I structure sessions. While you’re the expert in your own life, this consult helps us make sure we’re a good fit and that you feel comfortable with my style, vision, and expertise.

If, after our consultation, you’d like to move forward, we’ll schedule an initial intake session. There’s no pressure to decide right away, take whatever time you need! If at any point I feel that another therapist might be a better fit for your needs, I’ll share that openly and provide referral options to support you in finding the right match.

Session fees & Policies

15-minute consultation - complimentary

50-minute individual counselling - $165

30-minute individual counselling, check-in session - $82.50

Therapy services are HST exempt

Payment can be made via e-transfer sent to hello@kellyschaustherapy.ca prior to your session, or credit card through Jane.

 

I require 24 hours to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments can be modified in your Jane app profile. Online booking is available to existing clients for easy access to adjust appointments.

A late cancellation/no-show fee may apply if less than 24 hours notice is provided.
